Complete the sign up form. Your fundraising page will then be created for you automatically, making it super easy for you to start raising money. Once you raise £20 you will receive your very own Face The Unknown t-shirt.
At around 7pm each evening, you will receive your new challenge for the next day. Complete the challenges at any time each day in the comfort of your own home, in your local gym, out in the open air, or anywhere else that you choose! You also have the choice to complete the challenges on your own, or as part of a team.
Share your #FaceTheUnknown challenge on social media and tag @PassageCharity for everyone to see. Keep in touch with the rest of the Face The Unknown team by joining our Facebook group.
On day 14 there’ll be an opportunity for you to join us at The Passage HQ for a very special in-person workout! Further details will be sent once you have signed up.
Welcome on board! Thank you so much for signing up to take part in Face The Unknown, in support of The Passage.
Your first step is to check your email account (the email you used to sign up with) and click on the verification link. This will allow you to launch your fundraising page and most importantly will trigger the emails that you’ll require to learn what each day’s challenge brings. If you do not take this step, you will not receive the information you need.
Once you have verified your account, you’ll receive your very first email with more information on the challenge you are about to take on! Don’t forget to check your junk and spam folders for this just in case it finds itself in there.
The money you raise will help The Passage to continue providing accommodation, community, health and support services for those at risk of becoming street homeless, those who are street homeless and those who are victims of modern slavery. Our vision is of a society where street homelessness no longer exists, and everyone has a place to call home. At The Passage we believe that we can all play a role in the fight to end homelessness, and we hope that you will join us in doing so.

The Passage’s mission is to provide resources which encourage, inspire and challenge people who have experienced homelessness to transform their lives. Our services help people to address the issues that have contributed to them becoming homeless, and to enable them to move on.
• £25 could pay for one of our welfare rights workers to support a client to access vital benefits.
• £35 could pay for one of our mental health workers to have a counselling session with a client.
• £75 could pay for a week’s support for our modern slavery navigator to give in-depth support for someone at risk of trafficking and exploitation.
• £100 could help us to provide crucial training and supervision for one of our mental health workers for a week.
• £250 could pay for in-depth support for a client fleeing domestic abuse from our domestic abuse worker.
Expect HIIT, yoga, jogging/running, burpees, lunges and more. This is an opportunity to try out new things, some tried and tested, some novel and unusual. The programme has been carefully curated and famous names from sports and fitness will also be involved. Most workouts will include video content, so you have someone to keep you motivated!
They will range from 20-60 minutes long. You can complete them at any time of day that suits you! First thing in the morning, in the evening or whenever you have time. You will be sent the challenge the evening before, so you can plan ahead for the next day.
Equipment needed: trainers; yoga mat; set of dumbbells or an alternative such as bottles or cans; towel. You will not need all of this equipment every day - it will depend on the challenge. We will let you know what is needed in the challenge email that will be sent the night before the challenge.
